Recipe: Homemade Muesli

Muesli made to your liking, without all the added sugar!

  • 6 cups Oats, rolled, raw
  • 1 cups Nut, almond, raw, dried, unblanched
  • 1 cups Nut, walnut, raw
  • 1 cups Seed, pumpkin & squash, kernel, dried
  • 1/2 cups Honey
  • 6 tablespoon Coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cups Dried Fruit


You can change the nuts and dried fruit to suit your liking. I personally like almonds, cashews, pumpkin seeds and dried cranberries or raisins. I also like to add shredded coconut to this recipe. But.. it's your muesli so get creative! (you can try prunes, dates, apricots, apple etc)

Chop almonds and walnuts and dried fruit if needed.

Preheat over to 180 degrees on fan bake.

Combine oats, nuts and seeds in a bowl. Mix liquid coconut oil, honey, cinnamon and vanilla in a seperate bowl and pour over oat mix. Toss to coat. Spread evenly over lined roasting dish and bake, stirring every 10-15mins until lightly and evenly browned and starting to dry out. Roughly 45mins. Let cool completely before storing.
