Tanya Jury - who has kindly offered to keep a diary to track through 8 weeks of Peak Boxing so member’s and non member’s out there can see the benefits in lots of different ways. There was no convincing needed to find someone to take part – Tanya had her hand up before we had even finished asking – great to have such enthusiasm.
Hey everyone, wow this is a great opportunity for met to get started on my weight loss goal. I didn’t mind the idea of my weight being put up on the website, but yes I was a bit concerned about the photos - I have got my head around that and if no body else is bothered by this then why should I be – right? I am a full time student at EIT Taradale, I am also a single mother of a beautiful 2 and a half year old daughter and I find it hard to get the time and energy to go to the gym. My fitness is not great and I have pretty bad self control when it comes to easy meals and chocolate. As soon as I walked through the doors of Peak Fitness the staff welcomed me and treated me like an old friend, it was great, so I was not shy to put my hand up for this programme. I am hoping that by doing this programme it wall show to people weight loss and health improvement can not only be done, but it can also improve your every day life and the way you feel about your self, which lets face it can only be good. So here we go, lets get this started. Thank you TanyaJury

Well done Tanya, taking the first step is half the battle over. Putting yourself out there for all to see not only motivates new people deciding whether to start coming to the gym, but also reminds many of us who have been coming to the gym for years that ‘what you put in will be a direct result of what you get back’. Good luck on your journey, not only you, but your daughter will be the winner from your improved health and wellbeing.
So hows things going we havnt heard anything for a while???
hay every one wow four weeks is up already and man it has been great every one has been really supportive even people who ive never met before. Ive had my weigh in and it was good i didnt loose much kilos but did loose alot of body fat. my first week was challenging but the last three seam to fall in to place, i started to feel more energy, i slowly stoped wanting those ready made dinners hehe, i love my water now and i have more confidence. The third week was my birthday and my family came from all over the place but i kept my self control to many of their disappointment. The weekend of my fourth week was hard we had some bad news and my family had to go away and i resorted back to my old ways of eating when im boared and sad and my motivation started to die of so i just gave myself a big kick and with support of my family and the gym im back at it and feeling great thanks to every one at peak fitness I FEEL GREAT!!!!!!!!! Boxing is awsume i finally found something that motivates me.
